No Cook Tomato Sauce
6 large fresh tomatoes or the equivalent there of
2 garlic cloves, chopped
3 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
1/2 C chopped fresh basil
1/4 tsp kosher salt
coarsely ground black pepper
Instructions:
1. Chop tomatoes and place in a bowl.
2. Add the garlic, olive oil, basil, salt and pepper. Toss gently. Cover with plastic wrap and let it stand at room temperature for 2 to 4 hours.
